Motiva Film was founded to develop national and international feature films in 2011 by the producer Gökçe Işıl Tuna. She has produced creative documentaries, short films and feature films so far, which she participated in many festivals both in Turkey and abroad and received many awards.

The short film 'Deng' was selected for major festivals such as the 23rd Clermond Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the 40th Tampere Film Festival. She made her world premiere in the National Competition section of the 31st Istanbul Film Festival with the creative documentary 'Ana Dilim Nerede?’. The documentary 'Ich Liebe Dich', co-produced with Una Film and ZDF Das Kleine Fernsehspiel, was screened in the same year, at 31st Istanbul Film Festival. The feature-film ‘Küf’, co-produced  with Sevil Demirci, was selected for the 69th Venice Film Festival’s Critics Week section and received the "Luigi De Laurentis" (The Lion of the Future) award. In 2016, Seren Yüce's second film, 'Rüzgarda Salınan Nilüfer', co-produced with Yeni Sinemacılar and Wüste Film, got the award  'Best Screenplay' at the Montreal International Film Festival.


Motiva Film continues to develop new projects and collaborate with other producers.
