Motiva Film is an independent production company founded in 2011 by producer Gökçe Işıl Tuna and based in Istanbul. The company develops and produces feature films, series, and creative documentary projects with a strong focus on director-driven storytelling and international collaboration.
Working closely with writers and directors from the earliest stages of development, Motiva Film supports projects through research, development, financing, and production. The company is particularly engaged in international co-productions, building creative and production partnerships across Europe and beyond.
Films produced by Motiva Film have premiered and received awards at major international festivals including Venice, Montreal, Thessaloniki, and Tokyo, and have been supported by international partners and broadcasters such as ZDF – Das Kleine Fernsehspiel.
Today, Motiva Film continues to develop new projects with international partners, focusing on distinctive cinematic voices and stories that travel across cultures and audiences.
